Funding for registration and travel for competions

$310 towards $1,000

Join Laney Kaurala and students in FBLA raising needed funds for travel and competition expenses and to help the Franklin Educational Foundation! For the past two years, FBLA has qualified for Nationals comeptetion. These funds are not covered by our operational budget.

Welcome to Educate in Style 2023! We are excited to feature our Franklin High School students in a unique style show to raise money for scholarships, athletics, and activities in Franklin Public Schools. Students participating in the style show, like Laney, are giving their time to raise money for their favorite activity or athletic group. 50% of what each model raises goes directly back to their organization (within FHS) and the model/group that raises the most money will receive 100% of their earnings for their sport or club. So if FBLA raises the most $$, our group gets to keep 100% of the funds raised for our needs.

Here are a few examples of what the Foundation has supported in the past year:

  • Wazer-Water Laser Component for the Fabrication Lab at the high school
  • Plastics Blow-Molder for plastic program at Forest Park Middle School fabrication/manufacturing lab
  • Financial support for Robotics and FBLA clubs to attend Nationals Competition
  • New CPR adult and infant dummies for high school First Aid classes
  • Drones for Computer Science classes at FHS
  • Photon Robots pilot program at Country Dale Elementary School.
  • Pedometer pilot program at Pleasant View Elementary School.
  • Primary sponsor for 2023 FHS CultureFest
  • Grant for all five elementary schools to support the 5th grade transition to middle school camp
  • Six 2023 Student Scholarships and eight 2023 Excellent Educator Awards
