FHS Mock Trial Team

Alishba Zaman and Sophia Alberti are modeling in Educate in Style fashion show, to benefit the mock trial team and the Franklin Educational Foundation. Mock Trial is an extracurricular, team-based club that deals with our legal system. We receive a case and argue it in front of real judges, in an attempt to persuade them to our side.

We participate in many scrimmages around the greater Milwaukee area, and even compete in regionals! Our main goal with fundraising is to help us with transportation and registration costs.

We take a bus as a team, to every scrimmage and we participate in multiple scrimmages throughout the year, which costs about $100 every trip. So, the costs add up!

This year we have enough people that we should be able to have 3 teams with enough people to have substitutes required and the cost for all 3 of our teams to register is around $600. Currently, we are scheduled for 2 scrimmages and our regional competition. Especially having 3 teams, we hope to offset the costs with donations!

Ultimately, even having a few donations will go a long way in helping out our team! We are grateful for everything you are willing to give and promise to represent our school well!

No donation is too big or too small, anything helps! Half of what we raise will go to the Mock Trial Club and the other half to the Foundation. Thank you for your support!
