Join us for the Franklin Family GLOW Run at Forest Park Middle School

Please join us for our Franklin Family GLOW Run. There will be 3 ways to participate: 5k walk/run, 1 mile walk/run, and family glow hunt. We would love to see your best glow in the dark costume, not just for you, but for your pet too! Prizes will be available! To sign up for the race, please fill out your contact information and t-shirt size. To guarantee a t-shirt, please register by September 6th. Limited shirts will be available.

Schedule

5:30 pm Registration and T-Shirt Pick Up

6:00 pm Vendor Fair, Games, Snacks

6:30 pm Toddler Dash

6:45 pm Family Glow Hunt

Make your way around the school one time and collect all your glow in the dark goodies!

7:00 pm 5K run/walk and 1 mile run/walk

The route around the school is roughly 0.5 miles around. So if you sign up for the 1 mile, you will complete 2 laps, 5K, you will complete 6 laps. You'll get stamped with a glow in the dark marker to help keep track of your laps!

7:30 pm Neon Glow Yoga

Bring your yoga mat or towel to wind down the evening

Water Stations-First Aid

These will be available along the route

Weather/Cancellation

This event will go on rain or shine. However, if the weather is not allowing for safe running conditions, the event may have to be cancelled. Please pay attention to your email and this website if weather is questionable.

Goodies and Fun

Raffles will be available, but you must be present to win!

Special Highlights:

Students can enter a raffle to win being “Principal for a ½ Day” or “PE Teacher for a ½ Day” at their school! Other raffles baskets available! (Winner must be a student who currently attends the school.)
